Happy New Year, blog readers! After a long holiday break, it can be hard to get back into the swing of things but it’s important to start the new year off right. I shared some tips below to help you get back in the groove:

  • Remove any unnecessary distractions.
  • Don’t try to tackle everything at once.
  • Prioritize your inbox.
  • Create a to-do list.
  • Strategize a plan of attack.
  • Make sure your out-of-office replies have been removed from your voicemail and email.
  • Leave the office on time. Don’t overdo it and burn yourself out quickly.
  • Leave your personal life at the door once you start work and leave your work life at the door once you finish work.
  • Get plenty of rest since there’s no more sleeping in. This will also help reset your internal clock.
  • Schedule yourself breaks to step away from your desk for a quick physical and mental break and use this time to check social media or make any personal calls.
  • Don’t forget to eat healthy and drink plenty of water.

Hopefully these tips help ease your transition back to work in 2019. You can also browse resources focused on setting goals, saving time with Microsoft Office tips and staying productive at the office by visiting CHAMPS Oncology’s Pinterest boards.
